Ratification Results
Tonight, April 28th, the Halton Elementary Occasional Teachers ratified their new agreement.
Sometime in the next few months all members should receive a printed copy of the new agreement. As of today, we follow the rules of this new agreement. Those in attendance at the meeting received a fact sheet about the changes to our new agreement. Anyone not at that meeting may pick up a fact sheet at our office. Unfortunately we are unable to mail out copies nor can we send copies to members via the board courier.

Hear reports from your Executive, elect the Executive for 2009-11, see the award presentations to the Schools or Recognition and LTO and STO of the Year
Become more aware of Union business.
Information and registration forms will be available in the all-member mailing to be sent to you in early March. Don't miss out, register early.
Don't forget to nominate your favourite school for an Award of Recognition. These nomination forms will also be in the March Newsletter mailing.
Annual Donation
Each spring, Halton Elementary Occasional Teachers' Local makes a $200 donation to a charity. This year we have increased that to $400.
This year our donation has been sent to the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Halton and the Halton Learning Disabilities Association. These very deserving charities will use our donation to help children in Halton.
